VIEWING PICTURES - IN "STYLE"

When viewing any gallery of pictures, there is a "style:" dropdown menu.

Try changing the view of the "Style" dropdown to find the viewing style that best suites your liking.

Every "style" has it's unique features that make the viewing experience different. Try the "All Thumbs" style for a glimpse at all the thumbnails that belong in that gallery - or try the critique view to see the exact settings that were used on the camera when the shot was taken.

The "Smugmug" style probably has the most features all in one screen - and I recommend this choice for an all around "good browsing experience."

CHECK YOUR CROPS!!

When you add photos to your cart, you can select different sizes of prints. Please pay close attention to the red borders on the photos. If you see a red border on your photo, that means the size of the photo you are ordering requires you to crop the picture in some way - if you click the adjust button - it allows you to pick the part of the picture you want to keep and what part to crop off.

Keep in mind this utility is available even if there is no red border! If you want to zoom in on the picture and only show the faces (as shown in the picture to the right), you can use the crop tool for that as well!

QUANTITIES AND DUPLICATES

For pictures you want to order more than one size, more than one finish, or more than one setting - you can use the "duplicate" button to add the same picture to your cart a second time.

Once you have two of the same picture in your cart, you can change the size or finish of the photo.

Keep an eye on your "qty." box, to ensure you're not ordering too many or too few pictures.

REVIEW PHOTOS

The easiest way I recommend to review photos is with the slideshow option.

When viewing any gallery, click on the "slideshow" button in the upper right corner of the screen.

SLIDESHOW OPTIONS

When viewing the slideshow - if you want to ask me about a specific photo - you can turn on the filename option by changing the setting at the top of the slideshow window.

Choose "Filename" from the dropdown menu and then put a checkmark in the box next to it indicating you want that option displayed. You should see the filename in a box at the bottom of each picture.

This will help you communicate with me (and others) on specific photos.

TIP: You can also find the filename in any style viewing mode by hovering your mouse over photos and it will list the file name as well.

HOME STUDIO

The studio equipment I have is made to be portable, but does require a fairly large space to setup and function properly. Walls must be a lighter neutral tone (preferably white), and cannot have any reflective items such as pictures, mirrors, glass plates, TVs, etc.

Because of the nature of the studio setup requirements, I do not find myself traveling with my studio often, but am willing to do so, if the situation permits.

I have a set list of prices and sizes available for all my photos on my website. To see the different sizes/ordering options available - add any picture to your cart, then you can see the dropdown list of prices. There are over 120 different ordering options/sizes to choose from, to make things fun and interesting for you!
